Day 1: Arrival in Merzouga • Camel Trek • Night in Desert Luxury Camp
Arrive in Merzouga and meet your desert team at the edge of the Erg-Chebbi dunes. After a short welcome and time to prepare, set off on a camel ride across the golden sands, with stops along the way for photos and to enjoy the changing colors of the Sahara desert. As the sun begins to set, continue to your tented camp nestled among the dunes. Settle into your Camp, then enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. In the evening, relax around the campfire with local music and drumming, and take in the incredible star-filled sky before spending the night in your desert tent.
Day 2: Jeep 4x4 Desert Discovery • Off-Road Adventure • Hamada Landscapes and Erg-Chebbi Dunes
Wake up early to catch sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at camp. Depart by 4x4 for an off-road excursion to discover a different side of the Sahara Merzouga dunes of Erg-Chebbi—wide open Hamada (rocky desert) plains, remote tracks, and hidden desert viewpoints. Along the route, stop to explore the landscapes up close, learn about desert life and geology, and enjoy plenty of time for photos.
Day reserved to admire the numerous desert villages, among these, the village of Khamlia known for the Gnawa music festival which takes place at the end of August, the village of Hasi-el-Bied and the natural lakes of Merzouga ( Dait Tiffart and Jassmin ), the Erg-Chebbi dune tour lasting about 04 hours.

At 5:30 PM, your camel ride begins—an approximately 1-hour excursion to watch the sunset from the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You’ll then head to a luxury desert camp for dinner, followed by a traditional music show. Overnight in a luxury tent in the Merzouga Desert, with dinner and breakfast included (half board).
Day 3 : After breakfast, we’ll set off for Rissani, a historic desert town known for its traditional trading culture and authentic local atmosphere. We’ll begin with a visit to the lively market, where you can browse stalls filled with spices, dates, handmade crafts, and everyday goods, and experience the rhythm of local life.
Next, we’ll visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the revered father and founder of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty. Here, you’ll have time to learn about the site’s historical importance and admire the calm setting and distinctive architecture from the outside.
We’ll then continue to the Kasbah of Oulad Abd el Halim, one of Rissani’s ancient kasbahs, where you can discover traditional earthen construction and hear stories about the region’s past and its role in Saharan trade routes.
Today’s package includes lunch at a restaurant in Rissani, featuring Moroccan pizza, served with refreshing mint tea.
