It hasn't rained like this here in desert for about 20 years, especially in south-eastern part of Morocco ( Merzouga - Zagora - M'Hamid desert ). Surely the nomads will be very happy with this water supply, after years and years of drought and lack of water.
The rivers were over loaded and the dunes remained wet for about ten days and all wells are filled again. For them all this doesn't mean just one thing a year full of serenity and happiness.
As soon as it stops raining, the first people to see are the children, some of them go skiing on the sand dunes others instead go swimming in the lakes created by the floods.
Surely they will have already organized their rain party day, these are their true traditions, and this day or better to say this holiday is called "Tislite no' anzar " mean's the bride of the rain.
